The Trade Union Development Cooperation Network - Asia-Pacific (TUDCN-AP) will discuss ways forward for the implementation of the SDGs in the lead up to the 10th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development and strategies for recovery and resilience in the SDG Decade of Action.

This webinar will promote a space for exchange between trade union leaders from Asia Pacific, on the one side, and UN Resident Coordinators, on the other side, to share good practices in terms of promotion of SDG 8 and discuss follow-up actions to strengthen national dialogues between the UN and trade unions, with the support of the ILO, to ensure a decent work-based recovery and accelerate the SDG Decade of Action.

For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, the Regional General Council of the ITUC-Asia Pacific will hold its 22nd meeting.

In time for International Domestic Workers’ Day, the event will bring together affiliates and partners of International Trade Union Confederation, ITUC-Asia Pacific, and International Domestic Workers Federation in one virtual space to leverage the power of solidarity to build domestic workers' resilience towards an inclusive and equal future.

To mark the World Day Against Child Labour, the ITUC-Asia Pacific will organise a virtual meeting to discuss the child labour practices in the region and the existing initiatives towards its elimination and to explore trade union actions that can be done to contribute to the Durban Call to Action.

The Regional Organising Academy will train union organisers in Asia-Pacific to strengthen their organising efforts and to develop organising campaign plans.

This meeting will revisit and consider priorities to be accomplished in 2022 based on the shared concerns identified in the planning workshop in December 2021.

This two half-day training is designed for program/project leads, champions, and key persons seeking to initiate a mentoring program within their organisations
