This document contains ITUC-AP’s Action Programme from 2019-2023. It enumerates clear and present challenges that labour unions are facing such as the lack of labour governance, shrinking democracy for workers with restrictions on freedom of association, and the deregulation of corporate behavior of all substance, especially when it comes to labour.
It also indicates ITUC-AP’s areas for action from peace, democracy, and rights, regulating economic power, just transition, social dialogue, the SDGs, advancing women’s rights, and more youth in the mainstream of the trade union movement.
