A one-day youth leadership national workshop aimed at enhancing the engagement of youth in trade unions across Bangladesh was successfully held on 9 February 2024 in Dhaka.

The ITUC and ITUC-Asia Pacific jointly organised the National Organising Academy (NOA) in Nadi, Fiji from 20 to 21 October 2023, as part of their efforts to reinforce that building workers’ power is essential in delivering a New Social Contract.

“We want a future of work where workers’ contribution to the society and the economy is fully recognised and rightfully compensated and where minimum living wages enable workers to meet their needs and live a life of dignity.”

Today, we celebrate the historic values and achievements of the international trade union movement and reaffirm our commitment to organise workers everywhere and support their fights for democratic rights.
